Step 1 – Set Boundaries
You need to choose what you will and will not accept in life and once you do don’t let people push your boundaries.
Step 2 – Cut out all the toxic people and situations in your life.
If you can not cut out a certain person or situation for whatever reason distance yourself from that person or situation as much as possible or you will not be able to heal.
Step 3 – Take Time for Yourself
Even if it’s only for 5 minutes a day take time to do the things you love. This alone will help you tremendously. If it puts a smile on your face even on bad days do it because that one thing will enhance your mindset.
Step 4 – Change Your Eating Habits
This doesn’t mean to cut out all junk food or all meat but notice how different foods effect your mood. Each person who reads this will be effected by different things different ways. For me personally, if I eat a lot of carbs or milk products I have less energy and I feel quite sluggish which then effects how my mental health is that day.
Step 5 – Exercise, Exercise, Exercise
I know it’s not something you probably don’t want to hear but any form of exercise helps to release endorphins which help you relieve stress. You can do any form of exercise you want. Some choose to run and others choose to do yoga. I chose to do a little of both, I do yoga nightly and I also play soccer for a club.
Step 6 – Meditate
Even if you find it hard to clear your mind at first meditation helps immensely to improve anxiety. I recommend going onto youtube and just searching different meditations.

Practice spirituality, push your comfort limits, write down what you are feeling, talk to others.
